  • Teen falls off Hauz Khas bar terrace

A son of a former Manipur Minister was found dead after he allegedly fell under mysterious circumstances from the second-floor terrace of a restaurant in south Delhi's Hauz Khas village, police said on Sunday.

The cops got first call about the incident at around 4:40 pm and after reaching the spot they found broken pots, a purse, a mobile phone and spectacles. "There was no eyewitness to the incident", Mr Biswal said. A case of culpable homicide has been registered after the youth's family members suspected a foul play.

Siddharth had consumed alcohol and went to the terrace and tried to climb the wall to go towards the adjacent restaurant, said the officer.

Apart from questioning restaurant staff, police was examining the closed-circuit television footage from the restaurant.
