Asian stocks slump on profit-taking amid US-NKorea tensions

Gold rose 0.6 per cent to US$1,268 an ounce.
The U.S. dollar fell to 110.48 yen from 110.72 yen late Monday. The euro edged down to $1.1726 from $1.1751.
