Jessie Char initially thought she had scored the best seats on the flight when her row was empty. When Jessie Char got onto a plane heading from Long Beach to San Francisco, she tweeted out a photo of empty seats and said, "My two favorite people to sit with on a plane".

But soon after the aircraft was airborne, pair of feet, decorated with nail polish, pushed their way through the gaps either side of the window seat on her row.

Jessie tweeted, "You guys will never guess what happened next", before sharing photo evidence of the scene that ruined her day.

She tweeted, "Today, I flew on the set of a nightmare".
