Chelsea offer Atletico star lucrative five-year deal

Costa and Matic are soon to be heading out of London.

It is ridiculous to think that Costa was the main reason Chelsea won the league last season, when so many others impressed throughout the campaign.

Wantaway Chelsea striker, Diego Costa, has given another hint that he is close to leaving the Premier League champions, after he was pictured partying in an Atletico Madrid shirt.

Costa, now twenty-eight-years-old, scored twenty goals in thirty-five league appearances last season. Whether the Blues send him out on a six-month loan and then sell him to the Spanish side is a question we will have to find out.

So far this transfer window, the Blues have already lost out to Manchester United in the race to sign Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton, even though Chelsea matched Manchester Utd's £75 million bid.

Knicks will not buy out Carmelo Anthony's contract, president Steve Mills says
Even so, the two sides will not be executing a buyout as Mills promptly removed that notion from the slate of possibilities. The Knicks may or may not have Carmelo Anthony on their roster next season, but a buyout isn't an option.

Some have stated AC Milan has shown interest in Costa, but the Spaniard's heart may be set on a return to Atletico.

The pre-season tour, which goes to China and Singapore, does not include Nemanja Matic's name, which could possibly mean that manager Antonio Conte does not see the midfielder as a part of the squad for the upcoming season.

Signs point to his next destination being in Italy, where he may join the Serie A champions Juventus.

Having him in place to play in the second half of the season will be incredibly useful for Atletico, so it's likely they will strike a deal this summer, and they'll hope he can pick up where he left off with them.
