Two women were killed after being shot outside the Stuyvesant Garden Houses on Wednesday night, police said.

The NYPD says officers found the two women unconscious and unresponsive near the Stuyvesant Garden Houses in Bed-Stuy around 9:30 p.m.

The women who were caught in the exchange were a 21-year-old shot in the head and a 29-year-old shot in the back. A nearby bodega worker told the NY Post, "I heard five shots".

Police say the women were outside, part of a group of people, when two men fired shots toward the group sitting in the courtyard, CBS2's Janelle Burrell reported.
