That wasn't the case a year ago (New England won both), but Suh isn't letting the two losses get to him and his team.
Speaking on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" on Thursday, Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh made it very clear that the Pats do not intimidate the Fins. Taking that into account, I think one of the great things about Miami and this team, we've never been scared of the New England Patriots.
The New England Patriots have dominated the AFC East for over a decade, but one member of a division foe insists his team isn't scared of the reigning Super Bowl champions.
"I think we respect all opponents we have, we obviously start the season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and look forward to that", Suh said when asked how much he focuses on the Patriots. We understand New England is at the top of the East right now. We have many more games prior that are going to be big focuses. We never will be.
Leo Varadkar set to become Taoiseach
Some of the topics discussed included Brexit and the political situation both in Northern Ireland and the UK. Varadkar will become taoiseach when he is appointed by President Michael D Higgins later today.
Suh knows that the Dolphins have given the Patriots some trouble, but also understands where each team stands in the current ladder of the AFC East.
Suh said that, despite the Patriots' dominance, his Dolphins won't be backing down anytime soon, and know how to get ready for their battles with their divisional rival. "With that being said, when we play them late in the season, we'll be prepared".
Miami's first meeting against New England will be on November 26.
