Paul Collingwood is still confident Eoin Morgan's England can become world-beaters on home soil in 2019, despite their failure at the semi-final stage in this summer's Champions Trophy.
England hit 211 runs, which Pakistan chased down with 77 balls to spare, and Morgan believes that his team were at fault.
In his coloumn on a foreign news website, the former English cricketer said that the speculations on the Cardiff pitch was disrespectful to Pakistan as the side played well and adapted to the conditions.
"I thought we bowled OK but certainly defending 200 we have to produce a well above-par bowling performance".
Morgan, however, did give credit to Pakistan for their victory, especially their bowlers.
