Les sapeurs-pompiers du Gard luttent depuis 16h15 contre un important départ de feu de végétation sur la commune de Collias, sur la berge gauche du Gardon. A leur arrivée, l'incendie avait ravagé un champ de chaumes, puis s'était propagé à un massif forestier et menaçait une maison. Environ six hectares de chaumes et de garrigue ont déjà brûlé. "46 sapeurs-pompiers et 16 engins sont engagés et luttent pour éteindre ce sinistre et endiguer sa propagation à la forêt" explique le lieutenant-colonel Paletti, du Sdis 30. Quatre canadairs de la sécurité civile renforcent le travail des troupes au sol. Plusieurs maisons et un camping sont protégés par l'action des secours. Aucun blessé n'est signalé.
