Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn called for talks between the West and North Korea, branded US President Donald Trump "erratic" and backed the United Kingdom adopting a no-first use nuclear weapons stance at a major foreign policy speech in central London on Friday 12 May.
A leak on Thursday of Labour's draft manifesto featured on many of Friday's newspaper front pages, with the Sun describing it as "Labour's day of disasters" after a auto carrying Corbyn ran over a BBC cameraman's foot.
The party would put human rights "back at the heart of foreign policy" and "stand up" to the Trump administration, she added.
Speaking at the Chatham House global affairs think-tank in London, Corbyn said the world was "becoming more dangerous" due to war, climate change, the refugee crisis and a "grotesque level of inequality".
In a major speech, the Labour leader said there was a "clear choice" for the electorate between a Labour Party that would seek to emphasise peace and diplomacy, and what he described as the Conservative's approach of continuing "devastating military intervention".

Asked on Channel 4 whether he was still a member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the Labour leader said: "I have been a member all my life ..."
While the Tories might think foreign policy is a problem for Corbyn, the Labour leader clearly believes Theresa May's coziness to Donald Trump is a problem for them both.
The Tories have said they will not only retain the commitment to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation target of spending 2% of GDP on defence - which Labour also supports - but also ensure there is an annual real-terms increase in the armed forces' budget throughout the next parliament. His manifesto also commits him to renewing Britain's Trident nuclear weapons program.
Despite his long record as an anti-war campaigner, the Labour leader says there are circumstances when military intervention is justified as a "genuine last resort".
If he's not a pacifist, he's as close as it's possible to get to one. Kosovo, Sierra Leone, the Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and now Syria - he's opposed them all.
He said the world was "more unstable than even at the height of the Cold War" because of a failed approach to worldwide security, with botched foreign interventions making the world a "more unsafe place". In other policy announcements, Labour committed to keeping the triple lock on pensions and the Liberal Democrats said they would build 300,000 new homes every year.
"Don't let's think all the time about how to go to war".
