Sweden drops Assange investigation, UK police says he still faces arrest

Assange has lived in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since 2012, in order to avoid extradition to Sweden over the allegation, which he denies. We have won the Assange case.

Friday's announcement means Assange is no longer under any investigation in Sweden.
A statement tweeted on Friday complained that the United Kingdom had refused to confirm or deny whether USA authorities had asked for Assange to be extradited - implying that they believe he may not be out of the woods yet.
