La parité sera presque parfaitement respectée autour de la table du conseil, avec onze femmes et onze hommes et autant de ministres de plein exercice de l'un comme de l'autre sexe parmi les membres du gouvernement, même si la présence d'Emmanuel Macron et du Premier ministre fera pencher la balance du côté masculin.

Le nouveau président français Emmanuel Macron dévoile mercredi son premier gouvernement, une équipe resserrée qu'il veut "irréprochable", "de droite et de gauche", en phase avec le renouvellement politique promis avant les élections législatives cruciales de juin. 11 sur 22 sont issus de la société civile.

Le porte-parole a évoqué aussi "la réforme du renseignement" et "la simplification de la vie administrative avec le droit à l'erreur" face à l'administration, l'un des points saillants du programme d'Emmanuel Macron.

Des socialistes ralliés dès la première heure à M. Macron pourraient entrer au gouvernement.

Il y a cinq ministres issus du centre et de la droite: trois centristes du MoDem - François Bayrou (Justice), Sylvie Goulard (Armées) et Marielle de Sarnez (Affaires européennes) - et deux issus du parti de droite Les Républicains (LR): Bruno Le Maire (Économie) et Gérald Darmanin (Action et comptes publics). "Un ministre ne pose pas de conditions, ni au Premier ministre ni au président de la République", a toutefois répondu Christophe Castaner lors de son premier point presse.
