Porter, whose case ended in a mistrial, does not face any reported internal discipline, which stems from an investigation carried out by neighboring police departments rather than Baltimore itself.
Prosecutors charged the six officers in the case with charges varying from misconduct to manslaughter to second-degree murder, and all officers pleaded not guilty.
