C'est, depuis des semaines, l'une des caractéristiques de cette campagne: bon nombre de Français ne sont pas sûrs d'aller voter et, parmi ceux qui le sont, un pourcentage important n'est pas encore sûr de son choix.

Cette élection présidentielle française est selon lui "inédite" en raison de la part d'électeurs indécis, mais aussi par le taux d'abstention qui pourrait être particulièrement élevé. Il est notable qu'il recueille désormais 23 % des votes des électeurs de François Hollande au premier tour de 2012 (en hausse de 13 points), devançant Benoît Hamon dans cet électorat. Dans ce contexte, la candidate du Front national semble réussir à regagner un peu du terrain perdu chez les ouvriers et les employés. "Peut-être même aura-t-elle choisi la dictature, trop lasse qu'elle était de sa liberté, comme ces citoyens surendettés de l'Antiquité qui se vendaient comme esclaves".

Le candidat de la droite et du centre, François Fillon, gagnerait avec 58%, contre 42% pour sa concurrente frontiste. Il enregistre 11 points de retard par rapport à Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
